If a Disney princess had night terrors, the story of Sansa Stark might be what woke her up screaming. Often overlooked in favor of her killer kid sister, the elder Stark sibling has had all her illusions about the world, and her safety in it, shattered. But her quiet, innate political shrewdness and emotional strength have enabled her to survive in a royal court that likely would have cost every other member of her family their heads. She’s the show’s best-kept secret.
Rollingstone about Sansa Stark in their list of top 40 game of thrones characters. Sansa is number 4. x (via tomlincum)

Works by Alphonse Mucha when he wasn’t painting.

Saw Winter Soldier last night.

Did anyone else see the parallel between the tech that “wiped” Bucky and the system from Dollhouse? The crossover potential is killing me right now.

These plants were on the grounds of FLAME festival, on the path leading to a waterfall paradise. They intrigued me because I recognized them as trillium but I didn’t know they came in any color but white. I have a soft spot for trillium as it’s my mother’s favorite flower, and most of the species are endangered because the pant can’t survive its blooms being picked. On further investigation courtesy of Wikipedia I’ve found its closest match to be the “blood butcher trillium,” also known as the “prairie trillium.”

"how was your trip?"

"i saw a lot of COOL DOGS"

on a scale of 1-10 dogs that you saw, how was your day?

I just got back from a festival where the grounds had two wandering dogs… One a cool little terrier who chased all the cars and one a giant Great Pyrenees who came and hung out at our camp for an hour and got all the pets. So my time there was a 10/10 dog time. :D
